OVERVIEW
Sylvie Macmillan is a celebrated craftswoman currently focusing on mosaicked homewares. She uses responsibly sourced natural materials to create her own adaptation of shell art, challenging traditional techniques and resulting in unique, standout pieces that are sold worldwide.
CHALLENGE
As a solo craftswoman, most of Sylvie’s time was dedicated to creating and production, leaving little capacity for advertising or administrative tasks. The client
needed a website that could act as a showroom, as well as an easy route for potential customers to access information and make contact.
OBJECTIVE
To create a responsive website in Framer, adaptable across all screen breakpoints from large desktop displays to mobile devices. The website would act as a key promotional asset, showcasing the client’s work while providing a clear way for customers to make contact and find further information. The project also involved refining the client’s hand-painted logo, selecting the strongest versions, vectorising the final design, and developing a complementary submark to complete the brand identity.
